Unfortunately, the 4Runner only has a 4.0-liter V6 engine to offer. With 270 horsepower and 278 lb-ft of torque, it falls short of its competitor and doesn’t have hybrid offerings.

Looking to upgrade your weekend adventures with a motorboat or camp in luxury with a travel trailer? If so, the Range Rover is up for the job with a maximum towing capacity of 8,200 pounds.

With the Toyota 4Runner, though, you may need to leave your water ski boat behind since the 4Runner tops out at a 5,000-pound towing capacity.

Chilly mornings will be much easier to handle in either model thanks to available heated front seats. Want to take that coziness one step further? The Range Rover is available with “hot stone” massage seats that work to melt away all the stress of the day on your drive home from work.

Your entire crew will also be comfy in the Range Rover thanks to an available 4-zone climate control that lets you, your front-seat passenger, and both rear rows choose the cabin temperature they desire. In the 4Runner, you’ll only be treated to an available dual-zone climate control, so not everyone will get what they want.

To help you get to your inviting front seat quicker, the 2023 Range Rover can be outfitted with Power Assisted Doors. This feature will automatically open the doors as you approach, so you can slide in with ease and be on your way.

This feature isn’t found of the Toyota 4Runner, though, so you’ll need to open your front door the old-fashioned way.

Up front and center in the Toyota 4Runner, you’ll find an expansive 8-inch display with Apple CarPlay^® and Android Auto™ integration. Simply plug your compatible device into the USB port and you’ll be instantly connected to some of your favorite apps.

The 2023 Range Rover takes this engagement to the next level with Pivi Pro. It places a 13.1-inch touchscreen in your line of sight with wireless smartphone integration, so you can leave your charging cable at home where it belongs.

Your kids will also get their own listening and viewing experience in the back seat of the Range Rover with Rear Seat Entertainment. It places two 11.4-inch screens on the back of the front seats and allows your children to connect through HDMI so they can stream whatever they desire.

The 4Runner is not as engaging for your little ones since a comparable feature isn’t available.
